Verona, WI – April 7, 2025 – Contrail Aviation Support, LLC (www.contrail.com), a global leader in commercial jet engine trading, leasing, and used serviceable material (USM) solutions, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Tom Keeler as Vice President Technical. With over 20 years of experience in aircraft engine leasing and parts management, Keeler brings deep expertise to Contrail as it continues to expand its footprint and leadership in the aviation aftermarket in the leasing, trading and sales of CFM56-5B, CFM56-7B and V2500-A5 Select One and Two engines.

In his new role, Keeler will oversee technical operations, supporting sales and acquisitions with robust documentation, due diligence, and asset management. He will work closely with Contrail’s acquisition team to ensure prudent asset purchases, manage comprehensive trace packages, and provide detailed technical support for each engine transaction — strengthening the Company’s ability to deliver value to customers.

Keeler joins Contrail from WNG Capital, where he served as Technical Director, overseeing  technical asset management, and supporting the sales and acquisitions of more than 100 assets. Previously, he was Director of Technical Records at JT Power, evaluating aircraft and engines for technical and financial viability. His career began at GE Engine Leasing, followed by a role at Willis Lease Finance Corporation as Technical Services Records Coordinator, where he facilitated engine purchases and lease returns. Keeler holds a B.S. in Business from Miami University (Oxford, OH), completed jet engine training at GE’s Customer Technical Education Center, and pursued aeronautical studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

“Tom’s cross-functional expertise and proven track record make him an invaluable addition to Contrail,” said Joe Kuhn, CEO of Contrail Aviation Support. “His ability to bridge sales, acquisitions, and operations will accelerate our growth as we capitalize on rising demand for innovative asset management solutions.”

“I’m excited to join Contrail at this pivotal moment,” said Keeler. “Despite market challenges, Contrail has thrived through smart acquisitions and a customer-first approach. I’m confident we’ll continue to lead the industry under Joe’s vision.”
